The silver of the athletics goes to Tatarstan

The silver winners became the employees of Main Department of MES of RF of the Republic of Tatarstan that assisted from May, 14th till 15th in Izhevsk in the athletics meeting of  Privolzhsky regional center of MES of Russia. 14 teams that are the part of Privolzhsky regional center took part in the competitions. The competitions held in two stages. At the first day, there were 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 1000 m, 5000 m distance individual races.

At the first day of the individual race competitions the combined team of Tatarstan became the leader of the contests. Our sportsmen showed the best results of the 400 m, 1000 m, 5000 m races.

- among the women in 400 m distance races Lilia Gafiatullina (DFFS-2 of RT sportswoman) won the second place;

- among the men in 400 m and 5000 m distance races Radel Kashefrazov (DFFS-7 of RT sportsman) and Igor Golovin (DFFS-2 of RT sportsman) won the first place;

- among the men in 1000 m distance races Bigaev Artur (DFFS-2 of RT sportsman) won the second place.

On the second day, there was held 4x400 m mixed relay races, in which the combined team of Tatarstan won the silver.

As a result, in team classification the holders of the competitions became the absolute leaders. Tatarstan athletes climbed up the second step of the pedestal and Perm Krai tean won the bronze.
