The final stage of the Republican contest «the Teacher of year of the Republic of Tatarstan in the course «Basis of life safety» 2013/2014 academic year» has started today in Kazan. For the practical round of the contest was provided training and material base of Interschool educational complex № 2 Aviastroitelny district of Kazan, allowing to implement fully the competitive program.

The contest «teacher of the year for the life safety» has been held since 2000 every two years. Traditionally this competition is held in three stages - municipal, regional, and regional. Within two days the winners of the zonal stage of the competition, held in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, Aktanyshsky, Vysokogorskij, zhenskom, Mamadysh, Menzelinsk, Nizhnekamsk, Nurlat, and Tetyushsky municipal districts, will demonstrate innovative approaches to training schools.

The main aim of the competition was to determine the level of professionalism and creative skills of teachers, life safety, their support and encouragement. Along with this solved the problem on increase of the prestige of specialists teaching the basics of life safety, the identification and dissemination of best practices in teaching a course in the basics of life safety and enhance the status of the subject of life safety.

In addition to open lessons, participants of the competition presented to the jury their presentation training materials. In the afternoon, the participants presented and defended their creative work, which should reflect the creativity of a teacher to what they are learning, organization and methodology of the sessions on one of the topics of the corresponding section of the course «life skills».

The contest was held by the Security and protection of human rights in emergency situations», «Civil defense of the object (education)» and «basics of defence and military service of the citizens» of course «life skills».

And if the teacher conducts an open class on the subject of civil defense and emergency situations, then creative work must be done on the fundamentals of military service, and Vice versa. And so for two days.

It was difficult for teachers to explain the prepared material before completely unfamiliar class, but then, they are «pros»that I should find approach to any student. As the organizers of the competition, this year, many educators more creatively approached the supply of training materials and more often began to use online tutorials.

- It can be noted that the General level of participants has considerably increased, - said one of the members of the jury, Director of the interschool educational plant Novo-savinovskiy district , Kazan Ranis Idrisov. - Teachers demonstrate new developments and technologies of carrying out of the subject, have good experiences. In addition, it should be noted that the majority of the teachers in their classroom use is not abstract material, and cite specific examples of situations that occurred in the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia in General. On this basis, made a very correct conclusions and orientation of students on the observance, both personal safety rules, and the ability to help the victim.

When choosing the best teacher of the judges consider the behavior of a teacher at the Board, implementation of new modern educational technologies in the presentation of the material, clarity, resolution and depth of given knowledge, and interaction with children.

During carrying out of open lessons competitors though and worried, but stood by the blackboard quite confident. Each of them tried not only to show off in front of the jury, but to convey his method to schoolchildren. It is a pity that the curriculum for these vital lessons left negligible hours. This idea was voiced and the teacher OBZH cadet boarding school, Bulgarians Spassky district Dmitry Klyuchnikov.

- These classes are very important for students. In our age of rapidly developing technologies and Informatization we sometimes forget that the threat to human life can be real, not virtual. The guys are already obliged to acquire the necessary skills and be able to take care of themselves in an emergency situation. Participate I, the contest for the first time, and cannot fail to note that healthy competition among the most experienced teachers - masters of their trade is the strongest motivation to improve themselves professionally.
