One more bridge was cleared of ice.

      Today in the Tyulyachinsky area on Mesha river near the settlement of Karashirma under the bridge explosive works were carried out in order to  the ice jam wasn't formed during an ice drift under the bridge. In the territory of our republic it is the fifth area which was traveled by the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations together with blasters of JSC "Geofizik" from Ulyanovsk.

      About the settlement of Karashirma Mesha's width constitutes only 400 meters. But in case of a water level raising higher than 2.5 meters, many residential yards will get under water. Explosive works carried out already in Kaybitsky, Drozhzhanovsk and the Zelenodolsk areas. Till March 27 blasters and the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations should travel over three more areas, Menzelinsky, Aktanyshsky and Muslyumovo which submitted an application for carrying out explosive works.
