      Today in the House of the Government of Tatarstan the briefing for mass media took place. The question of readiness of a territorial subsystem of the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan to implementation of actions of the admittance card of thawed snow and taking measures to prevention and mitigation of the consequences of possible emergency situations was brought up. In a briefing took part the deputy minister for Civil Defence and the Emergency situation of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Surzhko and the chief state small size vessels inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilham Nasibullin.

      According to Nikolay Surzhko, by preparation for a high water in the cities and areas of the republic actions for repair of hydraulic engineering constructions are executed, beds of the rivers are cleared and deepened, water throughput pipes are repaired and cleared. The rivers of the Republic of Tatarstan are tightened by ice, some places of ice is friable, on a surface of ice there is a water.

the river Kama from 11 cm to 39 cm;

Kazanka river from 15 cm to 32 cm;

the river Sviyaga from 32cm. to 33 cm;

the river Vyatka from 31cm. to 35 cm;

Zainsk water storage basin from 10 cm to 11 cm;

Karabash water storage basin – 15 cm;

the lake Pioneer from 46 cm to 49 cm.

      Within a safety month the State Inspectorate for Small size Vessels carries daily out the following works:

1. monitoring the thickness of ice in places leading on ice and fishing;

2. patrol and identification the places leading on ice;

3. carrying out engineering certifications of ice crossings. By results of engineering certifications the decision on closing of all 4 ice crossings is made.
