All ice crossing of the Republic of Tatarstan officially closed.

Today morning has stopped its work for another two ice crossing, located C. the Sokolok - N.P. Novobachatskij (Mamadysh district) and look for Pokrovskoe - S. the Red Key (the facility). The decision to close them was taken yesterday after the carried out technical inspection of the ice on the object. Due to the appearance of cracks on the route, friable and non-uniform snow, and performances of the water on the surface of ice inspectors Centre GIMS EMERCOM of Russia on RT travel vehicles on the ice becomes dangerous.
Yesterday at 17.00 were officially closed the ice crossing on the Volga river on the sites , Zelenodolsk - N.P. international airport Kazan and N.P. Arachno - N.P. Verkhny Uslon. The reason for termination of activities of an ice road is the same - the changing structure of ice. Moreover, the temperature in the Republic in the daytime for several days rests on the plus mark.

According to the chief state inspector of the RT for small vessels Ilham Nasibullina, ice roads have already become a danger to traffic. Nowadays the structure of ice has changed, there are sand, snow 15-20 cm of water, so this ice is very dangerous not only for the movement of vehicles, but also to travel on foot.
