Preventive work with children is one of the most important activities of employees of the fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan. After all, it is in childhood that the foundations of safe behavior are laid, which can save lives in the future.
In July 2026, as part of this work, a number of events were held in children's institutions of the republic. V. N. Malkov, the commander of the department of a separate post for the protection of the village of Kamа Lespromkhoz of the Saby detachment, held a preventive conversation with staff and children at the Bersut Recreation Center in the Mamadysh district. During the meeting, a practical elaboration of the evacuation plan was organized, as well as the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment and actions in case of fire detection were explained. In the end, all participants received memos and received answers to all their questions.
In the village of Burnak, Baltasy district, the commander of the department of a separate post in the village of Yangulovo held a conversation with kindergarten students on the topic of fire safety in the summer. The purpose of the meeting is to bring kids to an understanding of the likely consequences of a child's prank with fire and to teach proper behavior in case of emergencies. The department commander told the students about the causes of the fire in an accessible form for children, explained that in no case should you play with matches and electrical appliances, and in case of a fire, you need to leave the building quickly and in an orderly manner under the guidance of adults.
A bright event was an open lesson in the kindergarten of the village of Chepchugi, Vysokogorsk district, which was conducted by the head of a separate post for the protection of the village of Biryulinsk animal farm. In a warm, confidential conversation, the children were told about the rules of fire safety. Special attention was paid to the important thing: the children firmly remembered the single emergency call number – "01, 112". The students were told why they should not play with matches, household electrical appliances and flammable objects, and were also clearly shown what serious consequences a prank with fire can lead to.
To consolidate their knowledge, a quiz with riddles was held for the children – the kids enthusiastically answered questions and demonstrated how attentively they listened.
No less fascinating was an excursion to a separate post for the protection of the village of Shali of the Kazan fire service detachment, which was visited by kindergarten students from the village of Shali. The kindergarten students got acquainted with fire fighting equipment, firefighter's equipment and combat clothing, saw how rescuers work, and learned a lot about firefighters.
Each such event is a memorable event that instills in children respect for the work of firefighters and responsibility for their safety.
