For Roman Mikhailovich, a separate guard post in the village of Elantovo became a place where he could see the work of his grandfather, N. S. Kilyaev, a man who devoted many years to serving people and maintaining peace in his native village. My grandson came here to see everything with his own eyes, to understand how his loved one lives, where he spends so much time.
In the small room of a separate post, everything breathed order and discipline: on the walls there were diagrams, duty schedules, and emergency instructions; in the corner, neatly folded combat clothing, ready for instant use. Kilyaev N. S. slowly, but with visible pride, showed his grandson every corner, talked about the everyday life of the service, how important teamwork is and how sometimes a human life depends on a fraction of a second. Roman was particularly impressed by the fire truck, the one driven by his grandfather for so many years.
During the conversation, N. S. Kilyaev told his grandson about his son, Roman's father, who died in a special military operation zone. N. S. Kilyaev's voice trembled, but he did not lower his eyes: "He grew up on my stories about service, on the example of the fact that duty and honor are not empty words. He chose his path, a difficult and noble one. And I'm proud of him every day."
A separate post for the protection of the village of Elantovo is a division of the fire service, where character is tested every day, and resilience and responsibility are brought up by the example of the older generation. As long as people are serving here, for whom duty and honor are not empty words, the villagers can rest assured of their safety.
