Two months ago, a mournful page was added to the chronicle of the Nizhnekamsk fire department: Marat Nazipov, the commander of the 29th fire department, died heroically while liquidating a fire at a protected facility. His name became the fourth to be inscribed on the Memorial Wall of the Nizhnekamsk Fire and Rescue Garrison.
"37 years have passed since the tragedy at the gas plant, where Nail Mukhamadeev, senior personnel Inspector, Nail Kalimullin, (paramilitary fire department) PFD -29 firefighter, and Vezir Gurbanov, PFD -35 firefighter, died. On March 31, 2026, we lost Marat Nazipov," said Valery Rycov, head of the Department of Personnel and Educational Work.
"Marat was our only child, our treasure. We still can't accept what happened," Albert Nazipov, the father of the hero firefighter, said, acutely feeling the bitterness of loss.
"We were united by a common grief. I would like to help the Nazipov family to survive the irreparable loss, as we once did. I thank the firefighters and the leadership of the squad for honoring the memory of our loved ones," Tatyana Kalimullina thanked the firefighters.
Relatives and representatives of the detachment laid flowers at the monument to the heroes of firefighters on the territory of 35 fire department. They visited the memorial panel at 29 fire department, where Marat Nazipov and Nail Kalimullin served, and also held a minute of silence at the Memorial Wall, organized at 47 fire department.
