My whole life belongs to fire-rescue sports!

As part of the grand opening of the championship of the Republic of Tatarstan in fire and rescue sports among boys and girls, a special event was held - honoring the outstanding veteran of fire and applied sports Fargat Zavdatovich Asatov, who celebrated his 70th birthday.

Fargat Zavdatovich Asatov is a true legend of fire and rescue sports, Master of Sports of the USSR, three–time champion of the Soviet Union and eight-time champion of the RSFSR. During his bright sports career, he became the champion of the Dynamo Sports Center five times and twice set the TASSR records for climbing a three-wheeled retractable ladder. As a member of the national team of the USSR and the RSFSR, he glorified the republic at the all-Union level.

Today, Fargat Zavdatovich continues to actively work as a coach of the women's national team of the Republic of Tatarstan in fire and rescue sports, passing on his rich experience to the younger generation. At the ceremony honoring the hero of the day, the President of the Federation of Fire and Applied Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Takhir Vagizovich Karimullin, and the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Dynamo Society of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexander Vasilyevich Plyushkin, congratulated the hero.

Fire and rescue sports remain an important part of the professional training of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and an effective form of work with the younger generation. Thanks to mentors such as Fargat Zavdatovich Asatov, the Tatarstan youth national team is rightfully considered one of the strongest in Russia, continuing the glorious traditions of fire and rescue sports in the republic.
