On November 27, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a seminar on "Together against corruption", dedicated to the International Day against Corruption (December 9).
First Deputy Minister Andrey Nikolaevich Orlov opened the seminar, reminding the audience about the history of the memorable date "December 9th" in the world calendar as the International Day against Corruption.
Invited experts made presentations at the seminar: Yuri Sergeevich Ivanov, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of the Enforcement of Anti-Corruption Legislation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the topic "Criminal liability for corruption crimes", as well as the First Deputy Executive Director – Alexander Olegovich Muzeev, Chief of Staff of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization "Association of Lawyers of Russia", presented the topic "Experience of the Council of Public Organizations and Associations of the Republic of Tatarstan in combating corruption".
The issues of prohibitions related to civil service were also considered, including the prohibition on receiving gifts (remuneration) to employees in connection with the performance of their official duties from individuals and legal entities.
At the end of the seminar, Sergey Vladimirovich Zaitsev, Head of the Human Resources and Civil Service Department of the Ministry, made a presentation, reminding employees of the need to start preparing for the upcoming declaration campaign right now and take this work with full responsibility.
Following the results of the seminar, methodological recommendations will be prepared for civil servants of the Ministry.
