A lesson of courage from psychologists of the Russian EMERCOM

Employees of the psychological service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a lesson for clients of the department of social assistance to families and children of the Privolzhsk district of Kazan.

The lesson of courage is the name of a cycle of classes for schoolchildren dedicated to the Day of remembrance of the victims of Beslan and the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. As part of these classes, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations introduce children to various professions that are designed to serve and help people, hold meetings with representatives of the emergency department, and engage in patriotic education with children.

The class was attended by 10 students between the ages of 10 and 15. During the conversation, the psychologists discussed various topics related to personal and professional growth with the students.

Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded schoolchildren about the tragedy in Beslan, which occurred on September 1, 2004, its heroes and exploits, and honored the victims with a minute of silence.
