Places of festive Epiphany bathing have become known
During the commission reception of bathing places, SISV state inspectors measure the thickness of ice in the planned bathing places of people in open reservoirs of the republic, followed by the recording of the measurement results in the acts.
According to the order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, the commission consists of representatives of local governments, the Orthodox Church, and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Jordan (ice hole) has wooden bottoms, side walls, steps, railings, which eliminates the possibility of a person drowning and going to the bottom of the reservoir.

Places of Epiphany bathing will be prohibited:
- swimming under the influence of alcohol;
- perform actions related to diving and swimming underwater, suppress false alarm cries;
pollution of water bodies and shores;
- bring dogs and other animals with you;
- gather in groups on the ice at the edge of the polynya;
- go behind the fence.
Bathing of children is allowed only with parents or adult relatives.
