One of the effective methods of teaching the younger generation about safety measures is special practical exercises. Specialists of the SRW of the city of Kazan held a lesson in the children's health camp "Dzerzhinets" and "Miras-heritage" together with inspectors of the SISV of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The children were told the basics of safety at water bodies, what to do if they witnessed an accident on the water. They told and showed how to use rescue equipment and how to provide first aid.
The children learned about the prohibition of swimming in unfamiliar places, about the insidiousness of whirlpools and strong currents, about why it is impossible to dive in untested places and swim behind buoys.
– Children should never be near the water unaccompanied by adults, – recalled Nikita Korobitsyn, Chairman of the Kazan SRW.
