Today, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan honored Alexander Borodin, a veteran of fire-applied sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, multiple champion of Europe, the USSR, the RSFSR, master of sports of the USSR of international class in fire-applied sports. The famous athlete and veteran turned 70 years old.
The list of Alexander Borodin's achievements is really impressive:
- Master of Sports of the USSR of international class in fire-applied sports,
- 9-time European champion,
- 12-time USSR champion,
- 12-time champion and prize-winner of International competitions of the KTIF,
- 32-time champion and prize-winner of All-Union competitions (USSR championships, USSR winter championships, CS Dynamo championships, USSR Interior Ministry championships),
- 63-time champion and prize-winner of All-Russian competitions (RSFSR championships, RSFSR winter championships, RSFSR personal championships, zonal championships of the RSFSR).
The famous veteran was congratulated by the heads of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federation of Fire and Rescue Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Veterans Council of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan Peter Ivanov, active athletes and coaches of the national team of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On behalf of the acting head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of the Internal Service Irek Kadamov, the Chairman of the Veterans Council of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan Peter Ivanov presented a letter of thanks to the Tatarstan commander-in-chief.
