Alexander Kurenkov: emergency departments of the BRICS countries are ready for mutual assistance in emergency situations and strengthening cooperation
On July 10, the fifth meeting of the heads of emergency departments of the BRICS countries is being held in Kazan under the leadership of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov.
The two-day events are attended by representatives of the emergency services of Belarus, China, the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia, and by videoconference - India and the Republic of South Africa. The discussions are taking place within the framework of Russia's BRICS presidency. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia is making every effort to create conditions for the exchange of experience and the formation of potential for international cooperation.
"The interaction of the BRICS countries at the level of emergency departments is an important aspect of the formation of strategic initiatives aimed at developing a common system of integrated security and mutual assistance," Alexander Kurenkov said.
