Emergency workers conduct fun and instructive classes in children's camps
Since the beginning of the summer holidays for children in country health camps, the Ministry of Emergency Situations traditionally conducts classes on fire safety. One of these events was held by employees of the 8th fire and Rescue squad and the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work on the ZMR in the Gorkovets DOL.
The first shift opened here just the other day. 180 children are currently resting in the camp. Ensuring the safety of children is the main task of teachers and counselors. The fire safety class started with an emergency evacuation training session. The children evacuated the building quickly, in an organized manner and without panic. Immediately after the construction and the report on the number of evacuated children, Ilya Venediktov, Senior inspector of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work for the ZMR, held a conversation with the children about safety measures. He reminded the audience about what causes fires and how to act in case of fire. Next is the most interesting and spectacular part. Employees of the 34th fire and rescue unit told and showed modern equipment, equipment of firefighters.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations staff will conduct such classes in every camp and in every shift throughout the summer holidays.
