Joint fire and tactical exercises in the Central District Hospital of Zainsk were successful
In Zainsk, joint fire and tactical exercises in the Zainsk CRH (pediatric department) have been successfully completed. The forces and means of the Zainsk fire and rescue garrison, Naberezhnye Chelny branch, 88 SRU, as well as employees of the department of supervision and preventive work in the Zainsk municipal district took part in extinguishing the simulated fire.
According to the legend of the exercises, the castellan of the pediatric department found smoke in the basement of the hospital. She immediately pressed the alarm button and tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher. When a fire alarm sounded on the territory of the hospital building, an organized evacuation began. All employees and patients went outside through the evacuation exits.
Summing up the results of the exercises, it was noted that the evacuation was carried out in compliance with the basic rules of fire safety and, in general, was successful. The hospital staff successfully coped with the tasks set. This exercise clearly demonstrated the staff's ability to identify the initial event. This is indicated by: checking the readiness of personnel for evacuation, the ability to act in case of fire, as well as the skills of using primary fire extinguishing means.
