More than 90 people and 20 pieces of equipment were involved in large-scale fire and tactical exercises that took place today at the Tatneft Arena Ice Sports Palace. The main task is to check the readiness of the management bodies and forces involved in ensuring security during the preparation and holding of the international multisport event "BRICS Sports Games".
From June 8 to 24, the divisions of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan will be switched to an enhanced mode of operation. Employees of the Federal Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and rescuers of the Search and Rescue Service at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as inspectors of the Federal State Fire Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, are involved in ensuring the safety of the forum.
During the fire-tactical exercises, the actions of the personnel of the units to extinguish fires and carry out emergency rescue operations at facilities with a mass stay of people, as well as in difficult conditions, were practiced. The actions of the commanding staff on the management of forces and means, fire extinguishing and emergency rescue operations, etc. were also checked.
