Spring flood: forecast - cautious optimism
According to the forecast of specialists of the Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan, a favorable weather situation is expected in the republic at least during the week - positive temperatures during the day, and negative temperatures at night. "Under such conditions, the melting of the snow cover occurs evenly, which inspires cautious optimism in anticipation of the conditions for passing the spring flood," said Sergei Zakharov, head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan," during a meeting of the Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan on the topic: "On readiness for spring flood."
The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin.
