EMERCOM of Russia checked the M-12 highway for safety

The forces and means of emergency operational services of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the federal interdepartmental integrated training to eliminate the consequences of an emergency situation related to an accident and congestion at 724 km of the M-12 high-speed highway in the Kaybitsky district of Tatarstan.

Exercises of this scale (immediately on the territory of several regions of Central Russia and the Volga region) are held for the first time. In Tatarstan, 78 people and 29 pieces of equipment were involved in the exercises, including 34 people and 11 pieces of equipment from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The objectives of the exercises are to improve the practical skills and interaction of the leadership, control bodies and forces of the territorial subsystem, as well as to check the reality of covering federal roads and the reliability of control, communication and notification systems.

According to the scenario of the exercises, an accident occurred on 724 km of the Vostok M-12 highway. There are dead and injured.
