From February 21 to March 3, 2024, Kazan hosts the Games of the Future International Multisport Tournament. This is a large-scale sporting event at the intersection of sports, science and technology, the synergy of spectacular classical and digital sports. International competitions will be held in completely new 16 hybrid disciplines using technology, digital environment and physical activity. Each of them combines the concept of "physical + digital," that is, it combines classic sports and e-sports or VR-/AR-technology, which means it checks both the physical training of athletes and their digital skills. The format of the Games implies the use of the latest developments in the field of eSports, robotics, augmented and virtual reality, information technology and artificial intelligence.
On the eve of the opening of the International Multisport Tournament "Games of the Future," large-scale exercises were held. The forces and means of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, together with representatives of regional emergency services, worked out actions to eliminate a conditional fire on the territory of the facility with the search and extraction of victims, and also checked the readiness of fire protection systems, warning, organization of evacuation of spectators and service personnel.
All objects of the Games were examined and checked by employees of the Federal State Fire Supervision for compliance with fire safety requirements.
