Today, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexei Pesoshin handed over the keys to the new equipment to the units of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. The ceremony was held as part of a joint meeting of the Board of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Tatarstan units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 9 new pieces of equipment purchased at the expense of federal and republican budgets. 4 fire tankers and a mobile radiation and chemical treatment complex based on KAMAZ, Ural-4320-80, a radiation and chemical reconnaissance vehicle based on UAZ, a Nefaz-5299 bus, as well as a small boat joined the service.
After the inspection and presentation of the new equipment, the guests of honor took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the foot of the stele to firefighters who died in the line of duty, and honored their memory with a minute of silence.
