Rafis Khabibullin warned the heads of municipalities about the risks of the approaching thaw and related preventive measures

On January 31 and February 1, 2022, cyclonic weather is expected in the Republic of Tatarstan, with precipitation in the form of snow, sleet combined with an increase in air temperature to positive levels.
Heavy precipitation and large accumulations of snow can lead to injuries among the population caused by the descent of snow masses and ice from the roofs of buildings, and causing material damage to the property of citizens, collapses of roofs of buildings and structures.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan recommends that residents of the republic be attentive and careful, when driving along the streets, stay away from houses, do not park vehicles near them.
