In the Orthodox churches of Tatarstan, thanksgiving prayers were held in honor of the intercessor from the fire

Today, a traditional thanksgiving prayer service was held in the Orthodox churches of Tatarstan in honor of the patroness of firefighters - the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush". Orthodox firefighters and rescuers especially venerate the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush", considering it their professional icon - patroness and intercessor.

In Kazan, more than 200 people from different departments of the emergency department came to the prayer service in the newly opened recreated Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God today.

- Dear rescuers! Let me congratulate you on the day of the celebration of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "Burning Bush"! The Mother of God is your intercessor and patroness. It helps you in the service that you do fearlessly and courageously. Your service is based on sacrificial love for the Fatherland and our people.

For hard work for the glory of the holy Church in the Kazan land, distinguished employees and veterans of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan were awarded the awards of the Tatarstan Metropolis – Episcopal diplomas and Letters of Thanks.
