This was stated today the head of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant General of internal service Rafis Khabibullin during a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan's readiness to ensure the safety of Christmas celebrations.
Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 1062 of November 25, 2020 on the introduction of a special fire protection regime on the territory of the Republic from December 20 to January 10 was adopted. This Resolution defines a set of measures to ensure fire safety during the preparation and holding of festive events, as well as places of production, storage and sale of pyrotechnic products.
During the operation of this regime, sanctions for violation of fire safety rules are significantly (almost twice) tightened, - warned the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Every day, about 2,300 people and 1,129 units of fire and fire-fighting equipment will be used to ensure the safety of festive events.
