Despite the fact that the bays of Kazanka are barely covered with a brittle ice crust, fishing enthusiasts have already laid out their fishing rods far from the shore. Today in Kazan, SISV inspectors conducted the first planned raid to identify citizens who went out on ice less than 7 centimeters thick.
Today, taking into account the danger of water bodies, 9 temporary rescue posts have been on duty since yesterday. They are displayed near places where fishermen go out on the ice in large numbers: Kazan, Laishevo, Nizhnekamsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Chistopol, Kama estuary, Menzelinsky, Alekseevsky districts.
Strong frost, established in the Republic, firmly bound the ice on small rivers and inland reservoirs. Icing on the Kazanka river began on Sunday night. The planned raid began with checking the thickness of the ice near the SISV center. On the section of the Kazanka river, measuring instruments immersed in wells by SISV inspectors showed ice thickness of up to 5 cm.
So far, there are no cases of failure under the ice in the Republic. At the moment, there is an active process of freezing. Preventive work is also continuing , including full houses and interviews with fishermen. And parents are reminded to keep a strict eye on their children at this dangerous time of year.
