Students and staff of Kazan University were evacuated from the main building in 5 minutes and 36 seconds.
Today, Kazan Federal University held planned, fire-tactical exercises for the safe evacuation of people from the main building. According to the scenario of the exercise, the "fire center" was located in one of the rooms in the basement of the main building. After the fire alarm, students and employees of KFU were evacuated, and the fire Department arrived.
The purpose of these classes was to check the operation of automatic fire alarms, the work of a private security company in emergency situations, the warning system, the operation of electromagnetic locks, and the safe evacuation of students and employees of KFU. The heads of all structural divisions had to provide lists of the number of people evacuated.
Based on the results of the evacuation, the organization can get one of two types of ratings: "satisfactory" and "unsatisfactory". According to the results of the exercises, Kazan University received a satisfactory rating.
Recall that such exercises are held on an ongoing basis. Last year, comprehensive civil defense exercises were held in a boiler room near the Institute of physics of Kazan Federal University.
