The "smart" city Innopolis for the first time hosted the Republican firefighter competitions
This year, the annual Republican competitions among the gas service units dedicated to the memory of firefighters who died in the line of duty were held in Innopolis - as it is called, the "city of the future".
- One of the goals of these competitions is to create and improve the training base, which should be in each division, – comments Konstantin Chanyshev, Deputy head of the main Department of the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The stages of the competition almost completely repeated all the elements of combat operations that occur in real fires. Immediately after the start – opening the iron door. The next stage is the training tower. Next – the test in the heat and smoke chamber. For each mistake during all stages of the competition, the team was added penalty seconds.
As a result, the hosts - team 8 of the Innopolis fire and rescue Department-won the Republican competition the fastest and with the minimum number of penalty points. The second result was shown by gas and smoke defenders of SRU-63 from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, and the third place went to Almetyevsk firefighters from SRU-65.
