Flood situation in the Volga Federal district-under the control of the Russian emergencies Ministry Commission

Today, the crisis management Center Of the main Department of the Russian Ministry of emergency situations for the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a coordination meeting on the flood situation in the Volga-Kama cascade of reservoirs.

The Commission of EMERCOM of Russia, consisting of representatives of the Main Directorate "national centre of management in crisis situations" MES Russia and Russian research Institute on problems of civil defense and emergencies of EMERCOM of Russia monitored the flood situation in the most troubled regions of the Volga Federal district, including in the Samara region and Perm region.

The Commission's task of EMERCOM of Russia - to delve into the issues, hear expert opinion on regional and municipal level, to bring the position of constituent entities of the Russian Federation to the leadership of the Federal authorities, Deputy chief of General Directorate "national centre of management in crisis situations" of EMERCOM of Russia Colonel Victor Moncef. Then the participants of the meeting reported on the current situation and measures taken.

Minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov reported on the emerging issues of water management in the Republic. Ilshat khanbikov, head of the water resources Department for the Republic of Tatarstan of the lower Volga BVI, reported on the regulation of the water management situation in the reservoir basin in the area of responsibility of the lower Volga basin water management. Sergey Zakharov, head of the Federal state budgetary institution "Department for Hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan", made a report on informing interested departments and organizations about the development of the flood situation.

During the hearing of the heads of local self-government bodies, the situation in the road and housing and communal services was analyzed. The issues of availability of reserves, readiness of forces and means for use for their intended purpose, as well as other relevant issues for each municipality were considered.
