This is facilitated by many factors, including: the tradition of launching fireworks to the sound of chimes, alcohol abuse, smoking near flammable objects, the use of open flames in rooms, attenuation in the pre-holiday bustle and, as a result, leaving unattended switched-on electrical appliances.

Today, a preventive event on the basics of life safety was held at the Center of National Education of the Elabuga municipal district for schoolchildren of grades 5-8 and teachers.

These simple truths were voiced at a briefing for journalists on compliance with fire safety requirements when the ambient temperature drops, Acting Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of the Internal Service Maxim Truschin.
