Fire safety prevention is being strengthened in Tatarstan

In the heating season, the number of fires increases by a third. Since the beginning of this year, about 16 thousand fires have already occurred in the country only due to stove heating.

As statistics show, fires of the autumn-winter period are often associated with an anthropogenic factor. The causes of fires are the careless handling of fire by citizens, including when smoking, in alcohol intoxication, often leading an asocial lifestyle. During this period, up to 80% of residential fires occur.

Today, in the arena of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, city competitions in fire and rescue sports among schoolchildren 12-13 years old were held. 13 best teams fought for the title of the strongest team in Kazan.

Employees of the detachment of the Federal Fire Service of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the Office of Contractual Divisions in the Republic of Tatarstan held fire safety classes for pupils of preschool educational institutions.

The excursion to the fire department was organized for students in grades 4-5 of school No. 6 in Zainsk by employees of 88 PSCh. Firefighters not only introduced young guests to fire equipment, but also demonstrated their sports training to the children at the training tower.

Fire divisions of the republic went on alarm 30 times, of which: to extinguish garbage - 2 times, to short circuit without burning - 2 times, to burn food - 1 time, to false calls - 7 times, to interact with other services - 12 times. Fire republics eliminated 5 fires, of which in the residential sector - 3 fires, other objects - 2 fires.

FSBI "Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan" announced a storm warning about a very strong wind on October 17.

On October 17, 2023, on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and in the city of Kazan, a strong south, south-west wind is expected at night in gusts of 15-19 m/s, during the day and in the evening from 09 to 23 hours, a very strong wind of 15-20 m/s, gusts of 25-28 m/s.

Firefighters of the republic liquidated 10 fires, of which 7 fires in the residential sector, 1 fire in cars, and 2 other objects.
