    The Ministry of Emergency Situations has completed checking the thickness of the ice in places equipped for bathing on the feast of the Epiphany. It should be recalled that traditional Epiphany bathing will begin tonight after the consecration of reservoirs and will take place at 91 prepared sites in cities and districts of Tatarstan.

    Traffic is restricted on almost all roads of Tatarstan. Due to bad weather, an unscheduled meeting of the Commission on Emergency Prevention and Response and Fire Safety of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic. Additional measures were discussed to ensure uninterrupted traffic and the functioning of housing and communal services in difficult weather conditions.
