How to report a fire via telephone, how to get out of a burning room, how to help a victim of fire - all these practical skills learned today by children resting at a school camp. In addition to fire regulations and rules, the children underwent an educational program on safe behavior on water.

An instruction lesson on fire safety measures was conducted by Supervisory Department of Nizhnekamskiy municipal district in conjunction with NMO TRO VDPO and Nizhnekamsk branch of the Center for Fire propaganda and public relations in the camp "Chayka ". There was held a testing of actions of the service staff during an evacuation in case of fire; as a result, the children were evacuated from all of the buildings of the health camp.

Today, there was held a briefing at Ministry of RT. There was raised “About measures taken due to drought and fire situation” problem. Akhmetov Marat Gotovich - Deputy Prime Minister of RT - Minister of Agriculture and Food of RT, Musin Haris Gaynutdinovich - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Sergeev Sergey Valentinovich - Deputy Chief of Headquarters of MES of Russia at RT - Head of supervisory management performed before the reporters in a videoconference mode.

Yesterday, in the Sabinskiy district between Ileber and Kuyuk settlements rescuers of zonal search and rescue detachment №4 found an elderly woman who left her home on June 8 during Sabantui celebration in the district, and passed the exhausted old woman to medical emergency. To conduct the search operations there were called two cynologist detachments with two dogs from Kazan.

In Zainsk in surgical building of GAUZ "Zainskaya CRH" there was held a fire tactical training exercise on extinguishing a conditional fire. In accordance with the tactical plans, a fire occurred in the electrical room on the ground floor, a strong smoke in the room with its access to a corridor.

Incidents for June, 9:

Fire departments of Federal fire service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 120 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 21, dry grass extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector.

The causes of fires are: violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, violation of fire safety rules during electric equipment use – 1, careless handling of fire – 3, carelessness when smoking – 1, arson – 1, incorrect installation of chimney – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 22 times. 4 persons were rescued. 

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2 times.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 8 times. Including: traffic accident – 1, search and rescue operation on water – 1, preventive raids at recreation places – 2,  search in forest – 2, others – 2.

Continuing the traditional work of fire safety promotion measures among children, “Safe living for children of Zainsk!” project was opened under Zainsk area initiative of Almetyevsky department of TRO VDPO together with the supervisory department of Zainsky municipal district of RT at the Palace of Culture of Zainsk city.

Incidents for June, 7:

Fire departments of Federal fire service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on RT went on alert 245 times: burning garbage extinguishing – 45, dry grass extinguishing – 41. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector. 3 persons were rescued.

The causes of fires are: careless handling of fire – 3, carelessness when smoking – 1, careless handling of fire by unidentified persons – 1, arson – 1, incorrect installation and failure in heating stove and chimney – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents - 21 times. 21 persons were rescued. 

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 5 times.

Missions of search and rescue units of MES of RT – 23 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, traffic accident – 2, search and rescue operation on water – 3, search in forest – 1, extract person out of collapsed soil – 1, safety provision for national holiday "Sabantuy 2014" – 11, others – 2.

By Order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, R. N. Minnikhanov, a regime of "Emergency" from June 6, 2014 until further notice, and a special fire-fighting regime from June 6 to July 1, 2014 were brought in. Special fire-fighting regime is introduced in order to prevent threats to life and health of citizens, damage to the environment and to avoid significant financial losses in connection with the the abnormal hot weather and fifth grade fire hazard.

A convoy of two fire trucks and seven personnel of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of MES of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan today left for the Republic of Crimea to provide fire safety in the summer children's camp in the name of Kazakevich located in Bakhchisaray district of Crimea.
