Incidents as of February 4:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 1, violation of electrical equipment technical installation rules – 2, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 2, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 2.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 15 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 4 times. Including: door unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 1, others – 2. 

On February 4, 2015 from 6 o’clock the work of the passage through the river Volga in Verkhneuslonsky Municipal District on the route Verkhny Uslon village – Old Arakchino settlement (Kazan City) was resumed.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 40 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.

Causes are: violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, defect in electrical equipment – 1, arson – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 6 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, car evacuation from snowdrift – 1, roof dismantling – 2, demercurization – 2, others – 2. 

On February 3, 2015, there was received a report on carbon dioxide poisoning (conceivably) of a family consisted of 4 people in the city of Agryz.

Today, All-Russian conference meeting was held in a videoconference mode. It was dedicated to the question on preparedness of the emergency department to the spring floods of 2015. According to Director of the Department of Fire and Rescue Forces and Special Units  of EMERCOM of Russia Aleksandr Agafonov, 490 thousands of people, 115 thousands of techniques, 195 air techniques are in constant-ready status throughout the country.

As of 12 o’clock on February 3, 2015 the power supply is cut off in 9 settlements of three municipal districts (Agryzsky, Mamadyshsky, Rybno-Slobodsky). 791 buildings and two socially significant objects (schools) remain within the zone of electricity outage. There are no dead and injured.

Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 1, careless handling of fire – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, arson – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 21 times. 2 people were saved.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 8 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, traffic accident – 2, others – 3. 

For the present, the traffic of cars, trucks and passenger vehicles on the highways is realized with no restrictions. According to the plan “Buran”, total 29 stationary heating centers, 14 medical centers and 55 nutrition centers implement their work on federal and republican roads of the Republic of Tatarstan.

As of 5 o’clock on February 3, 2015 the population of 14030 people and 26 socially significant objects in five municipal districts remain without electricity: Agryzsky, Alekseevsky, Chistopolsky, Nizhnekamsky, and Mamadyshsky.
