The team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the Cup of the Prime Minister on applied fire sports tenth time. Its XI competitions have finished in sports arena of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, today. Tatarstan sportsmen finished by a wide margin in overall winning 15 various awards in individual competitions.

On January 28, 2015, there was a fire in a lift hall of the first entrance on the 20th floor of a 24-storey residential apartment building in Kazan. During the exploration the GDZS unit found out that the fire burns in a lobby of solid domestic waste on the area of 3 sq. meters. 5 fire trucks, 2 ladders were involved in the extinguishing the fire.

Republican Competitions on Ski Races among departments of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan finished in Zelenodolsk on the basis of the sports complex “Maiak”. According to team results of two days, Almetyevsk sportsmen (KFK-2) took the first place, the second place was taken by Kazan firefighters of the 5th squad (KFK-5), and the team of the 4th squad of Naberezhnye Chelny took the third place.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 55 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 3 of them in the residential sector.

Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 1, arson – 1, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 2, violation of electrical equipment technical installation rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 14 times. 3 people were saved.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, traffic accident – 2, helping the driver and passengers of a car that broke down on the highway M-7 – 1, cleaning up roof – 1, safety provision of event – 1, others – 1. 

On February 5 there was an away session of the collegium of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia. It was attended by the Head of Headquarters of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia, general-colonel of inner service Igor Panshin, the leadership of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia, heads of headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the subjects of Volga Federal Region of the Russian Federation.

With such warm words the Head of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia, general-colonel of inner service Igor Panshin addressed to the leadership of the republic and the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan at the colorful opening ceremony of XI All-Russian competition for the Cup of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan on applied fire sport and VI Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia Championship on applied fire sport indoors.

Today, there was a presentation ceremony of the latest models of fire equipment to departments of Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan before the final meeting of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of the Head of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia, general-colonel of inner service Igor Panshin and the Chairman of CES and FS of RT – the first Deputy Prime-Minister of RT Aleksey Pesoshin.
