Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 50 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 10, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector.

Incidents as of February 28:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 48 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, singed meal – 4, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 1 of them in the residential sector. 1 person was saved.

GIMS inspectors monitor the situation on the waters every day, as well as they measure the thickness of the ice. 88 places of mass coming of people to the ice are under control of the State Inspection on Small Vessels of Tatarstan. Due to the warming in daylight, scours appeared on some waters of the republic.

On March 1, 1972, Charter of International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) came into force as a intergovernmental organization. The 9th Session of General Assembly of ICDO resolved to celebrate World Civil Defense Day on March 1 annually by the Resolution that was adopted on December 18, 1990.

Just quick and timely decision of a volunteer firefighter of Volunteer Firefighters Command “Verkhnie Chelny” Vasili Kondratyev saved a residential house in the village Krasnaia Kadka of Nizhnekamsky Municipal District from inevitable ruin and saved the property to the amount of 5 mln. rubles. There was burning of the garret all along.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 63 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 4 of them in the residential sector.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 4, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 16 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 3.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, traffic accident – 2, others – 2. 

That was wished by the First Deputy Chairman of Central Council of VDPO Aleksei Krylov during the opening of the methodological gathering with chairmen of councils of regional department of VDPO of Volga Federal Okrug, today. The forum took place in Kazan in “Grand-Hotel “Kazan”. Also, is was attended by main accountants of regional department of VDPO of Volga Federal Okrug and the leadership of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, EMERCOM of Russia is holding complex trainings in order to work out actions of management bodies, forces and means of common state system of prevention and elimination of emergency situations at elimination of natural and man-made emergency situations of interregional and federal character. Total of more than 131 thousand people and more than 21 thousand units of techniques were involved in the trainings on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 2, arson – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, defect in electric equipment of vehicle – 1.
