“March 1 – World Civil Defense Day” lessons were held in MAOU “Cadet School number 47” of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. In specially equipped classroom, children by their own strength prepared a video and text material on the history of civil defense development, demonstrated protective rescue equipment they had. 

The staff of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan deeply grieves untimely death of Nikolai Petrovich Mukhin and pays respects relatives and friends. He was born on August 28, 1948. He trained and educated several generations of tourists and rescuers. He was one of the founders of rescue service of Tatarstan.

Incidents as of March 3:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 23, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 3 of them in residential sector.

In compliance with the plan on preparation and carrying out World Civil Defense Day, open days were held in territorial inspection departments of FKU “Center of GIMS of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan”. Pupils from 8 secondary schools were invited, total of 296 people participated.

“Open Days” which were dedicated to World Civil Defense Day were held in all departments of the 15th Squad of FFS for the Republic of Tatarstan. At an appointed time pupils were met by firefighters and rescuers. Chiefs of fire departments performed in front of children with conversations.

A private house in the village Chabia Churchi of Sabinsky District started burning on February 28 at half past ten P.M. Co-villagers got into the window of a non-smoked room and took off a 57 year old man outside. The victim was hospitalized in Sabinsky district hospital with many burns. As a result of the fire, the house on the area of 72 meters was burned down, and it cannot be reversed. The preliminary cause of the fire is carelessness when smoking.

Today, the ceremony of presenting medals “70th Anniversary of the Victory at the Great Patriotic War” took place in Naberezhnye Chelny Cadet School number 47 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Nikita Kaimanov.
