As of 10:00 P.M. of March 16, 1 039 people and 182 units of techniques were involved in rescue and other emergency operations. MI-8 helicopters of EMERCOM of Russia, “K-226” helicopter of MIA for the epublic of Tatarstan are ready to take off. 2 people remain missing.

17 dead bodies, including 9 ones of foreign citizens, have been identified in the Republican Bureau of Legal Medical Expertise, so far. Thirteen bodies have been given to relatives for burials.

Specialists of Experimental Fire Laboratory of EMERCOM continue their work at the site of the ruins removal. To the date, an investigation group of 24 people is working: 6 legal experts, 6 EMERCOM investigators and 12 people of committee of inquiry.

Total of 708 dump-trucks of the ruined constructions were removed (about 8 035 cubic meters). 1 051 people, 187 units of techniques (including 585 people and 74 units of techniques from EMERCOM) are involved in rescue and other emergency operations. 17 psychologists involvement is planned.

Incidents as of March 15:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 64 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 20, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 8, others – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 5 of them in residential sector. 4 people were saved.

Causes are: arson – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, carelessness when smoking – 2, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, violation of fire safety rules during gas equipment use – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 2, ascertain – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 12 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, emergency situation liquidation – 5, others – 1.

Rescuers have cleared away over half of the territory of the ruined constructions of “Admiral” Trade Center. On March 16, 2015 the involvement of 19 psychologists is planned to provide psychological support. 624 calls came to the “Hotline” number.

As of 6:00 P.M. of March 15, 1 040 people and 177 units of techniques (including 585 people and 74 units of techniques from EMERCOM) are involved in rescue and other emergency operations. 502 dump-trucks of ruined constructions were removed.

Today, the relatives, friends and colleagues of the colonel of internal service, Sergey Kostin, attended his funeral. The Head of Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia Igor Panshin, the First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chief of HQ EMERCOM of RF for RT Rafis Khabibullin, former coworkers and acting employees of the Headquarters and EMERCOM of RT came to the civil funeral rites.

GIMS employees held technical examinations according to the results of which there was made a decision on closing all of four ice passages.
