Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 70 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 28, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, singed meal – 6, cooperation with other services – 6, others – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, 5 of them in residential sector.
Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, carelessness when smoking – 2, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, defect in vehicle systems, mechanisms and components – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1.

At 10:20 P.M. of March 17, the poisoning by carbon monoxide of 5 people in the city of Mamadysh was reported. As a result of the incident there are no deaths. 5 people suffered: a man born in 1974, a woman born in 1978, girls born in 2006 and 2013, and a boy born in 2008. The victims are monitored by medical personnel in the central district hospital, at the moment. They are in stable condition. The preliminary cause is fault extraction ventilation.
