Republican competitions among departments of federal fire service for the title of “The Best Team of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan on Rescue Operations at the Liquidation of Emergency Situations Connected with Motor Vehicles in 2015” were held on March 21 in Kukmor on the basis of “Zilant” sports complex. The competitions were attended by 10 teams from all of fire departments of the republic.

Incidents as of March 22:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 51 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 5, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 14 fires, 7 of them in residential sector. 1 person was saved.
Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, careless handling of fire – 6, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 2, arson – 2, defect in vehicle electrical appliances – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, ascertain – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 9 times. 2 people were saved.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 4.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 13 times. Including: unblocking – 1, traffic accident – 2, others – 1, emergency situation liquidation – 3, preventive raid at mass gathering places of fishermen – 3, ice condition monitoring – 2.
The group of forces and means of RSChS consisting of 184 people and 40 units of techniques (including 33 people and 9 units of techniques from EMERCOM of Russia) realized a complex of objectives on dismantling the rest of constructions with searching operations by two shifts within 24 hours.

The group of forces and means of RSChS consisting of 230 people and 66 units of techniques (including 38 people and 8 units of techniques from EMERCOM of Russia) realized a complex of objectives on dismantling the rest of constructions with searching operations by two shifts within 24 hours.
Pupils of the Republican Specialized School named after N. Galliamov competed on the basis of riding-hall of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. Three teams at the ages between 11 and 15 participated in competitions of VDPO with elements of applied fire sport. According to general results, “Nadezhda” team took the first place, the second place was taken by “Kazan” team, and the third – by “Smena” team.
