Incidents as of March 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 65 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 20, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, singed meal – 4, cooperation with other services – 5, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 3 of them in residential sector.

Causes are: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, careless handling of fire – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, arson – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 24 times. 1 person was saved.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: unblocking – 2, others – 2, emergency situation liquidation – 1, ice condition monitoring – 1.

The group forces and means of the territorial subsystem of RSChS consisting of 94 people and 26 units of techniques (including 25 people and 5 units of techniques from EMERCOM) realize a complex of objectives on dismantling the rest of constructions and searching works by two shifts. 2 310 dump-trucks of ruins have been removed since the beginning of works that makes 44 192 cubic meters.

That has been said by the Chief of Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring for the republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Zakharov, at a briefing for journalists, today. Nevertheless, measures against the flood which were told to the media by the Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nikolai Surzhko, have been taken.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 32, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 10, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.

Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 3, careless handling of fire – 1, child prank – 1, arson – 1, ascertain – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 9 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 11 times. Including: unblocking – 2, others – 6, emergency situation liquidation – 3.

The group forces and means of the territorial subsystem of RSChS consisting of 120 people and 50 units of techniques (including 30 people and 9 units of techniques from EMERCOM) realize a complex of objectives on dismantling the rest of constructions and searching works by two shifts. Less than 1 500 sq. meters of ruins remain unremoved.

Due to the fire that took place on March 11, 2015 in “Admiral” Trade Center in Kazan, that caused death and harmed health of citizens and caused serious material damage to entrepreneurs, who realized their work in this object, the special fire-prevention mode was brought under the territory of the Republic Of Tatarstan.

Two residents of Kukmorsky District, Rizanur Karimullin and Aynur Mukhametgaliev, who saved the 50 year old host from his burning house on January 25, 2015, were given letters of gratitude on behalf of the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Last week, firefighters of the second squad of Federal Fire Service of State Fire Service for RT demonstrated their skills in the sports intellectual walk of life. Colleagues from 13 departments of the squad met at the chess-board and tennis table. The event was initiated by a trade union organization and was dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War.
