Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 100 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 32, dry grass extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 49, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 9, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 2 fires, both of them in residential sector.

That was reported at the briefing in the Cabinet of Minister of RT by the Main State Inspector of RT on Fire Inspection, Sergey Sergeev, who reminded the media representatives about introducing special fire-prevention mode on the territory of Tatarstan, today. The meeting with journalist was also attended by the Minister of Forestry Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almas Nazirov, who in his turn confirmed that during May celebrations bonfires in forest for any purposes are prohibited.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 90 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 11, dry grass extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 49, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, singed meal – 7, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 12 fires, 5 of them in residential sector.

From March 23 until a special order, special fire-prevention mode was introduced. During the period of special fire-prevention mode penalties are foreseen: for citizens from 2 to 4 thousand rubles, officials – from 15 to 30 thousand rubles, juridical persons – from 400 to 500 thousand rubles.

Festive events in the honor of the forthcoming celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War were organized in the fire department number 56 of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. The leadership of the 15th Squad of Federal Fire Service for the republic of Tatarstan organized a festive meeting during of which distinguished employees were awarded, and the ceremony of oath administration of young fighters of fire service took place.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 3 of them in residential sector.

That day in 1986, there was an explosion on the fourth power-generating unit of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Scales of the tragedy could become immeasurably greater if not the courage, selflessness of the participants of the liquidation of consequences of the Chernobyl Catastrophe, which did their duty in emergency conditions. On the eve of the memorable date, the Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin, addressed to the liquidators.

Spring Subbotnik was held in all departments of EMERCOM in Tatarstan. In the early Saturday morning the work of firefighters, rescuers, GIMS and State Fire Inspection inspectors was in full swing. More than ten thousand employees of EMERCOM turned up to the cleaning territories, as well as their office accommodations.

On April 24, 2015 at 11:56 A.M. there was received a report on burning of a moored floating crane in the city of Kazan. There were repair works on the ship. Something exploded while welding works were on process. A fire occurred. At the arrival of 4 fire trucks and a fire aerial ladder there was identified that oil was burning on the floating crane on the area of 40 sq. meters. Total fire liquidation was ended at 12:46 P.M.
