April 26 – The Day of Participants of Liquidation of Radiation Accidents and Catastrophes Consequences and Memory of Victims of Those Accidents and Catastrophes

That day in 1986, there was an explosion on the fourth power-generating unit of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Scales of the tragedy could become immeasurably greater if not the courage, selflessness of the participants of the liquidation of consequences of the Chernobyl Catastrophe, which did their duty in emergency conditions. On the eve of the memorable date, the Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin, addressed to the liquidators.
