In order to provide fire safety in residential houses of citizens, departments of Kazan Squad of Fire Service of the Republic of Tatarstan hold preventive work among people.

Incidents as of January 26:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 61 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 25, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, burnt meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 8 fires, including 2 of them in the residential sector, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1. 1 person died.

The private house in the village of Balchikly of Kamsko-Ustyinsky Municipal District started to burn on January 25, 2016 at 11 o’clock in the morning. The voluntary fire team “Varvarino” were the closest to the scene, so they were the first to start extinguish the fire. In 7 minutes another team “Bolshie Klyari” came to their support.

On January 22, 2016, the squad concluded 2015. The solemn event was attended by Deputy Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan (for State Fire Service), Rafail Motygullin, Chief of People’s Safety Provision Department of the City of Naberezhnye Chelny, Rauf Mingaleev, and the squad’s leadership and staff.

Incidents as of January 25:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 21, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, burnt meal – 6, cooperation with other services – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, including 4 of them in the residential sector. 1 person died, 1 person was injured.

Adverse addresses, residentials of single, old citizens, people who abuse alcohol, families with many children, are again in the center of attention of fire service staff. Preventive teams which comprise inspectors of supervisory affairs, police officers, social workers, had begun to inspect these addresses nearly every day before New Year and Christmas celebrations. A group of five people went to the villages of Vasilyevo and Oktyabrsky of Zelenodolsky District with another raid and inspected six families.

In order to avoid overcooling and frostbite do not go outside with no necessity, avoid long walks of children, pets and refuse long trips.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 35 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 13, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, burnt meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fire, including 7 in the residential sector.

In the evening on January 22, at night and in the afternoon on January 23, 2016, followings are awaited on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan: strong snowing, snowstorm with the visibility of 1 000 meters and lower, South-East wind strengthening up to 15-16 m/s, snow drifts on the roads.

On January 22, 2016, poisoning of 4 people by carbon monoxide in the village of Nagornoe of Almetyevsky Districts was reported. 4 people went into Central District Hospital with “carbon monoxide poisoning” diagnosis: two women born in 1975 and 1976, a girl born in 2011 and a man born in 1944, who died in the ambulance. After the examination the injured refused hospitalization and were let go home. Preliminary cause of the accident is faulty chimney.
