Total 29 stationary heating centers, 14 health centers and 55 nutrition centers implemented their work on the federal roads of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, there was organized the duty of one mobile brigade of “Disaster Medicine Center of the Republic of Tatarstan”. 

In the period from January 3 to 10, 15 people, including 7 children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide poisoning is one of the critical states of a person that leads to death. As a rule, it occurs as a result of malfunctioning heating stove in rural areas, when a person is located in a fire, in a closed car with the engine running.

Thanks to the cooperative efforts of ministries and departments of the republican subsystem of the Single State System of the Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations the traffic moves in normal mode on federal and republican routes of the Republic of Tatarstan. Snow drifts on the roads do not occur. According to the plan “Blizzard”, 782 units of snowplow are involved in the cleaning up the pavement.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 56 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 11 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 2, ascertain – 1, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 1, defect in heating stove – 1, arson – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 4, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 18 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 16 times. Including: door unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 9, others – 4, raids at mass gathering of fishermen – 1.

Tens of fishermen have become hostages to the vagaries of weather. The reports on the loss of bearings were received during the day a few times from various areas of the Kuybyshev Reservoir expanses. The number “112” received total 3 reports on the loss of bearings due to poor visibility.

This decision was rendered at an extraordinary meeting of the Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan on Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety Provision that was held today in the Cabinet of Ministers of RT chaired by Aleksey Pesoshin. Participants of the meeting discussed issues “About additional measures on smooth traffic provision in difficult weather conditions”.

On January 11-12, 2015 on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan are expected:

- snowing at times, stronger in the afternoon of January 11 and evening of January 12;

- snowstorms with the reduced visibility up to 500 meters and below; stronger in the afternoon of January 11 and evening of January 12;

- wind intensification up to 15-20 m/s; with blasts up to 25 m/s in the afternoon of January 11 and evening of January 12;

- snowdrift formations on roads.
