Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 49 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, singed meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 8, others – 0. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 1 of them in residential sector.
Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, careless handling of fire – 2, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1.
Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 6 times.
Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.
Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Including: doors unblocking – 2, traffic accident – 1, preventive raid at mass gathering places of fishermen – 2, examining waters – 1, monitoring ice condition – 1.
Round table of V Republican Youth Forum by the direction “The preparation of youth to actions in emergency and extreme situations” (Section “Safety”) took place on April 8 in KNRTU named after A. N. Tupolev – KAI. Section participants, invited experts, EMERCOM of RT representatives gathered at the round table. Discussions among themes: increasing the level of fire safety, teaching youth first aid provision in emergency situations, safe glazing, making accessible environment for people with limited capabilities in emergency situations.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 5 of them in residential sector.
Causes are: violation of fire safety rules during electrical household appliance use – 1, arson – 3, carelessness when smoking – 3, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1, careless handling of fire – 1.

How to save a gardening association from fire, how to stimulate activists of volunteer fire departments in them, and basic requirements of fire-prevention legislation – these and other problems were discussed at an educative seminar that was organized by the tatar republican department of civil society organization “VDPO” in cooperation with the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and “City Association of Gardeners” of Kazan City.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 2 of them in residential sector. 1 person was saved.

The thematic conference call “On the readiness of forces and means of EMERCOM of Russia, territorial subsystems of RSChS and their units to provide safety of the population during the fire-risk period of 2015” took place in the situational hall of the National Crisis Management Center of EMERCOM of Russia under the leadership of the Minister, Vladimir Puchkov.
Courageous and decisive actions of a pensioner of fire service, retired captain Rais Goffarov, helped to avoid a tragedy during a fire in a flat of a residential building in Naberezhnye Chelny City. When the retired captain saw that a thick smoke comes out of the neighboring flat, he rushed to help and rescued the married couple of pensioners born in 1927 and 1931, who were in helpless condition.
On April 5 at 7:45 P.M., there was received a report on a man that went through the ice near the ferry system of Zelenodolsk City. At 7:55 P.M. the victim was pulled out of water by a GIMS inspector.
