Incidents as of April 5:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 63 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 10, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 7, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 10 fires, 4 of them in residential sector. 2 people were saved.

Causes are: careless handling of fire – 4, defect in heating stove – 3, violation of electrical equipment technical use rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 6 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 7.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 10 times. Including: others – 3, cooperative raid with GIMS at mass gathering places of fishermen – 5, examining places of possible flooding – 2.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, dry grass extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 29, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 14, others – 49. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, 2 of them in residential sector.

Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 1, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical equipment use – 1, careless handling of fire – 1, wrong installation and defect in heating furnace and chimney – 1.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 0.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 16 times. Including: on alarm – 11, preventive works – 4, safety provision at events – 1.

Just in March of this year departments of volunteer fire protection participated in extinguishing 59 fire. In the village of Bolshaia Shilna of Tukayevsky District, volunteer firefighters saved neighboring buildings from a burning house that was situated near them. In Kaibitsky District “Ebalakovo” volunteer fire department went to the village of Ebalakovo to extinguish a burning shop.

In order of fire safety prevention Chistopol squad firefighters of the separate post of the village of Iske-Riaziap visited more than 60 houses of the village of Iske-Riaziap of Spassky Municipal District.

The management of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as EMERCOM of RT has made a decision on setting up five temporary rescue posts in districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, where many fishermen come out on ice. The duty at these posts is held by GIMS inspectors and rescuers round clock.

Today, cooperative trainings on evacuation of students and teachers during a fire has taken place in KNRTU hall of residence. The residents of the university were “rescued” by all possible ways.
