GIMS Employee Rescued a Man that Went through the Ice

On April 5 at 7:45 P.M., there was received a report on a man that went through the ice near the ferry system of Zelenodolsk City. At 7:55 P.M. the victim was pulled out of water by a GIMS inspector.
The creation of a virtual exhibition is part of the social project "Fire and Rescue Sports". It is implemented by the Tatarstan Republican branch of the All-Russian public Organization "All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society" and is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among children through the organization of training and competitions, as well as the popularization of fire and rescue sports.
During the reporting period, 52439 calls were received and processed, 41666 incident cards were created. To date, about 59% of calls have been received by the republic's emergency services.
Regina Gayazova, Head of the Department of Human Safety at Water Facilities of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the situation at water bodies during the melting of ice, during a briefing for media representatives held today at the "Tatar-Inform" NA.
