The action on installation of fire announcers in residential places of poor families and families with many children in Zelenodolsk District continues. According to social protection data, there are 117 families registered in this district. 468 fire announcers were allotted for equipping their homes in the district. It is planned to check all of the families which are registered in interdepartmental account and finish the charity action in two weeks.

Incidents as of October 13:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 55 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 26, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, burnt meal – 2, cooperation with other services – 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 3 fires, residential sector – 0.

Today, “Young Rescuer” city competitions began from search and rescue operations in the natural environment. The forest of the township of Derbyshki and the lake Komsomolskoe turned into a polygon with challenges close to real work of rescuers during an emergency in nature. The competitions involved the best six teams of Kazan, the winners of district competitions. All of the participants are students of profile grades of cadet corpses, schools, grades, circles and “Young Rescuer” sections. The teams are composed of schoolchildren from 14 to 17.

More than a hundred people of the staff of the Headquarters fell in before the departure’s building. Two tens of schoolchildren of the comprehensive school No. 175 saw the work of inspectors of the Center of GIMS of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, today. Young visitors learned skills of rescuing a drowning person on the water, familiarized with means of rescuing and saw modern technique, which is used by the staff of state inspection on small vessels. Specially for children, professional diving rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad No. 2 of the city of Kazan made a show.

For 9 months of 2016 there were 2 439 fires which took lives of 92 people in the republic, 198 people got injuries of varying severity. The main causes of fires were careless using fire, violation of electric equipment and electric household devices installation and use rules, violation of furnace heating installation and use rules.
