Chief of the first squad of federal fire service, Aleksey Shapovalov, as an experienced firefighter, pays a great value to professional education of his subordinates. It is the only squad in the republic which holds competitions in combat deployment among duty guards of its fire and rescue departments, at that two times a year – in winter and autumn. The last event was held at training polygon from October 11 to 14. There were participating 56 duty guards each of 5 people. The competitions composed of three stages.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 57 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, residential sector – 1, garden houses – 1, various types of property – 1, vehicles – 1. 7 people were rescued.

Today, students of Kazan high school No. 52, who came to an excursion in the Crisis Management Center of the Republic of Tatarstan and fire and rescue department No. of OFPS-7, were lucky to be in various roles. They operated satellite antenna with the help of special equipment, sat in mobile management center and even became members of the operational headquarters of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The open day for schoolchildren was organized by EMERCOM stuff within the month of civil defense and the Year of Fire Service in the system of EMERCOM of Russia.

One of the basic stages of the education of all categories of specialists connected with extinguishing fires is a lesson at “Lava” fire polygon which is located at the Educational Center of the Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, and is able to model all possible situations of fire occurrence and development. 26 firefighters passed the fire challenge. As well, firefighters from neighbouring regions of Russia, Kirov Oblast, Udmurtia, Nizhny Novgorod, Mari El, Mordovia and Chuvashia, were among participants of the stage.

More than seventy cadets of EMERCOM from three Kazan schools joined “Yunarmia” military-patriotic movement. The solemn event passed in the school No. 67. There were the Chairman of “Young Firefighter” children movement board of VDPO of the Republic of Tatarstan, Guzel Avkhadieva and the Executive Secretary of the Federation of Applied Fire Sport of RT, Valery Grishenkov, among honorary guests.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1, hay – 1. 1 person was injured.
